Stress-Free Living Affirmations

When under duress, anxiety or stress, this is the moment or moments in our lives that we are not enjoying life. What we are feeling or thinking today, creates our tomorrows. For, a sense of inner peace in life cannot be found while climbing mountains of worries, negative experience and self-doubt.

We hear a lot about stress these days. It has become the common word to “change”. And if this being the truth, then every single person in the world can say they are stressed. For, this entire past year and moving forward, change has occurred and continues happening. We need not see “change” as an enemy, but as a friend. It moves us forward, creates new ideas and introduces positive possibilities and opportunities.

As we have realized this past year, the most important thing in life is our “breath”. It is the most precious substance in our lives. Without it, we will no longer will be. Now, if we can trust that our next breath will take us to our next life moment, how can we not place trust in ourselves to do positive things with those moments we are given. Every breath we take we are given another moment to live, to do, to be. Let’s make those moments count in positive ways. We all do not have time to waste on negative thinking or emotions as that will only create more of what we do not want in our lives. By doing this we are stopping the flow of good within us.

When you are feeling stressed, ask yourself what is scaring you. For, stress is fear. When we are fearful we cloud or limit our life. We face fear every day – fear of failure, fear of rejection, even, the fear of being “ourselves”. Fears do not have to be walls, but life hurdles. Find out what is creating this fear within yourself. Realize what it is that is causing stress in your life and then work on resolving it or letting it go. It is impossible to have inner peace when you carry a bagful of negativity on your back but it is also impossible to have stress when you have inner joy, harmony and peace.

We all want to move through life feeling safe. Try not to give the word stress in your life so much power. Do not allow it to take control over you. It has no power over you, we just give it power to manifest in our life and make it seem so overwhelming. Nothing – no person, place or thing – has any power over you. You are the only thinker in your own mind and you are the only owner of your thoughts. Thus, train your thoughts to make you feel good, joyous, happy. Positivity flows much easier within us than negativity.
